It was a hot and humid day in Franklin, TN. There was a slight haze in the air and a small breeze which rustled the heart shaped leaves we were standing under. We were scoping out the location we were about to photograph special family moments in when all of the sudden, from around the corner, came….NORMAN!! Hanging out of the window with his big goofy smile and giant slobbery tongue just waiting to greet us with kisses. (I admit that intro was a stretch. I was feeling very novel-ish). We met the Talmage family in Downtown Franklin to get a few photos of the family all dressed up before we headed to the park and it's pretty field. I was so excited because we already had a photo in mind that we wanted to get, and Brooke put together a dress that worked perfectly for it! (It's the black and white photo on it's own below). She had heels to wear, but I'm so glad she decided to stick with the cowboy boots because one of my favorite photos is the one of her and Jackson walking out to the field with her boot just barely showing. This family is up for anything. Any location, any shot, any weird outfit I want them to wear! Photographing them is so fun. Not to mention the fact that Jackson is a ham and was a complete angel to photograph. Thank you for continuing to choose us to capture your lives together throughout the years!
Thought I'd add these shots of us in action. Will makes a great hanger and wears a dress nicely. And apparently I do the splits when I photograph babies???
