It was a humid day with the threat of rain but we didn't get a drop. As Kim walked out to see Dave for their first look in her gorgeous Lea-Ann Belter gown, his smile was contagious. Kim was glowing as she sashayed into his arms for the first time all day. The day continued to be perfect after the wedding as it cooled off just in time for their outdoor reception on the grounds of Gettysvue Country Club. I think one of Will and I's favorite parts of the day was seeing her 96-year-old grandma (who had just started walking again so she could come to the wedding from California) boogie down on the dance floor. First of all, I would give anything to look like her when I'm 96! And second, she should be an inspiration to everyone who feels like they can't do something and should just give up. No walker, no cane, just the hope to make it to see her grand-daughter marry the man of her dreams and the will to make it happen! So amazing. Kim and Dave, you know we love you guys! I'm soooo glad you choose us to be part of this special time in your lives. We're going to have to plan trips to Knoxville more often now!
