Montana Bound

I just realized that I'm sitting here listening to the beach boys as I prepare to write a post about Montana...not the most completely random thing I've ever done but pretty close.Bozeman, Montana Will and I are leaving on a jet plane headed towards our Aunt and Uncle's house in the morning. We try to visit them at least once a  year to get our fix of skiing, hiking, wild mustangs and snow in. Uncle Randy and Aunt Mary Beth are not only the most adventurous and fun outdoorsy people we know, they are also the reason we are doing what we love and pursuing it whole-heartedly.

Uncle Randy is also a photographer and has been our inspiration from the beginning. He is a film photographer and photographs the wild mustangs of the Pryor Mountains before creating a one-of-a-kind Bromoil (a photographic process from the early 1900s). His love for what he does pours out of each of his pieces and inspires those of us to achieve greatness in our own pursuits.

I'll have my phone and will be sending random pretty mountain views, tons of snow, me falling down the hill goofy style on my skis, and other fun things to our Facebook if you want to see what we're up to. Until then, here's a preview of the gorgeousness of Big Sky Country, our home away from home.

The photo above is the view from the Pryor Mountains in the summer. This place is magical and one of our all time favorite places. Pryor Mountain Mustang

I couldn't write about Montana and not add a few photos of the beautiful mustangs that live in the Pryor Mountain range. Pryor Mountain Mustangs
